Scalp Microneedling

Scalp Microneedling is a non surgical treatment that helps stimulate hair regrowth, while nourishing and replenishing the scalp and hair follicles to produce thicker healthier hair.

Using The 'Dermapen4 ' medical grade device with CE certification and FDA approved, controlled micro injuries are performed into the scalp. Providing further added benefits of a combination therapy to intensify improvement and results,- a mesotherapy cocktail is applied within the treatment and transported through the existing micro channels reaching the level in the skin where the hair follicles exist. Triggering the body's natural healing response this encourages an increase in blood circulation and collagen production, stimulates the hair follicles and improves the strength and structure of the hair follicle and bulb.

This treatment can be used for both men and women and could prove to be particularly beneficial to those suffering from progressive types of hair loss such as androgenic alopecia. Genetic causes of hair loss are notoriously difficult to treat, but recent research is now showing scalp microneedling to be effective with many already benefitting from the results of a minimally invasive procedure.

Platelet Rich Plasma for Hair Loss (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma is a procedure which stimulates hair follicles to promote hair growth. PRP is rich in 'growth factor' and other proteins which are essential for the restoration and regeneration of new cells. The treatment involves taking a small blood sample from the patient, the blood is then placed into a centrifuge to 'spin' at high speed and separate the red blood cells from the platelet rich plasma. This plasma is then injected back into the scalp to induce hair growth.
This treatment is beneficial for both men and women, with statistics showing that 85 % of men are now affected by the age of 50 and 40 % of women by the age of 50. In the UK alone over 15 million people suffer with some form of temporary or permanent condition of hair loss or thinning.
Non surgical procedures in hair loss are becoming increasingly popular and continue to rise with the results that are now being seen with this transformational treatment.

Cosmetic Semi Permanent Make Up over time will fade this is due to a number of factors including techniques and applications used and pigment choices. A number of individual factors will also contribute to fading including, the process and natural exfoliation of skin cells, exposure to sunlight, skin type, medications and a number of lifestyle habits. Results can last up to 36 months, generally most clients book a maintenance appointment at approximately 12-18 months to keep their treatment looking fresh.

Medical Micropigmentation procedures have much more longevity in the skin and will be discussed during consultation as this will very much depend on the area being treated.

Semi-Permanent Eyebrows

Eyebrows can frame and enhance the whole look and shape of a persons face. The cosmetic treatment for PMU Eyebrows involves the use of specialised tools. A digital micropigmentation/ Tattoo device or a manual microblading tool.
Achieving the results desired by the client and what is best suited to the clients skin is paramount for the longevity of the treatment, safety of ones skin and the end aesthetic look, which will be fully discussed with you at consultation.
Powder Brows / Ombre Brows, are created by depositing many pixels of pigment into the skin to achieve a soft, yet well defined brow.
Natural Hairstroke can be created with either digital or manual tools depending on skin type, and by implanting pigment into the skin to replicate and mimic the look of natural hairs and patterns.
PMU techniques can not only create the appearance of thicker, fuller more defined brows but can achieve a more improved shape and colour to compliment your natural features.

Semi-Permanent Lips

Lip micropigmentation is a popular treatment for those looking to add colour, symmetry and definition to their lips. As we age our lips can loose pigment and become thinner. Although lip blush wont add fullness like filler will, it can enhance the shape of the lips therefore giving a more fuller aesthetic look. Depending on clients requirements, variable techniques can be used to achieve the look desired, from colour choice, to the level of pigment saturation implanted.

Red Lipstick

Semi-Permanent Eyeliner

Eyeliner SPMU is a cosmetic procedure where pigment is inserted into the lash line to create the appearance of eyeliner. This can be designed to your required look, from classic liner, to winged or a lash enhancement look, ultimately saving you time and the need for precision of application every day.

Scar Restoration

Medical Microneedling is a method of technique used to improve the appearance, texture, tone and firmness of the skin. Also known as 'Collagen Induction Therapy' and 'Multitrepannic Collagen Actuation'. A number of skin conditions can benefit from this treatment including, stretchmarks, surgical and trauma scars, atrophic and hypertrophic, and those caused by acne. The procedure involves creating micro-channels into the skin using a device with a number of very fine needles. The aim is to cause micro injuries from these channels to rebuild the skins surface, and to work with the body's natural healing process, furthermore, encouraging increased collagen and elastin during healing. Melanocyte cells are also released in this process and help to naturally re pigment scar tissue, therefore a client may find no further need for camouflage as their own natural healing has created such benefits to the appearance of the scar tissue. Each scar and clients requirements will be different, number of sessions required will be discussed during consultation.

3D Areola Micropigmentation
(Nipple Tattoo)

Also commonly referred to as 'Nipple Tattooing', is a procedure to recreate the areola and nipple area with a 3d realistic and raised appearance using the application of pigments into the skin.
For some this procedure may be due to cosmetic breast reconstruction, individuals wishing to change enhance pigment/symmetry or those that have undergone gender reassignment surgery. For many other men/women this procedure may be sought after from the loss of these tissues due to cancer, post mastectomy.
Working predominantly in healthcare providing care to the highest standards comes as second nature. I am thankful to have a deeper knowledge and understanding of breast tissue anatomy in order to help clients the best way I can. Many people following these surgeries carry with them not just the physical scars but immense emotional trauma and they deserve to feel safe, reassured, and cared for during the process that will help them to regain a part of themselves they have lost. This procedure can be a lifechanging experience for many, by reclaiming their body and their self confidence.
